Our project seeks to promote alternatives that drastically reduce CO₂ emissions without the need to replace existing engines or infrastructure. For over a decade, at Ibero Waste, we have been working to ensure that the production processes associated with the biomass and biofuel supply chains generate the lowest possible environmental impact on the planet.
Much like the intensive agriculture of our region, which pioneered a large-scale circular economy model, at Ibero Waste we are committed to the circular value of readily available solutions, such as used cooking oil, fatty acids and fats/tallows, refining soapstocks, oleins, advanced products, and glycerine.
In our case, how do we make the circular economy an operational reality? At Ibero Waste, we strive to be the driving force that connects all the pieces of the puzzle. It is not enough simply to link waste generators, waste managers, and end customers within a strictly regulated and transparent framework; we must add value to the waste, give it a new lease of life, and turn ‘rubbish’ into biofuel. As members of the Spanish Association of Renewable Fuels, Circular Economy and Sustainable Mobility (CRECEMOS), we help transform waste into raw materials with value, traceability, and certification.
Focused on promoting the responsible reuse of waste by facilitating its integration into new production processes, our activity operates at the intersection of industry, sustainability, and regulation.
In alignment with the European 2050 net-zero emissions target, we are proud to participate in the transition towards a more sustainable energy model—one that protects the environment and improves quality of life—and to be an international benchmark in the management and commercialisation of certified waste.
