Ibero Waste Trading, together with our Portuguese subsidiary IB Trading, are trading companies specialising in raw materials, by-products, waste and residues used in biofuel production.
Within the biofuel feedstock market, we are one of Spain’s leading UCO (used cooking oil) traders, with operations focused primarily on the Iberian Peninsula as well as Germany.

International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC)
Ibero Waste is proud to hold ISCC certification, a globally recognised certification scheme. It focuses on demonstrating sustainability and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the biomass and biofuels supply chain. ISCC EU ensures compliance with the legal and sustainability requirements set out in the EU Renewable Energy Directive.
In addition to being certified, Ibero Waste provides consultancy services for companies seeking ISCC certification. Our expert team will guide your business through the process to meet the required standards and secure this valuable certification. Under ISCC EU, traceability is ensured for feedstocks such as palm oil, soya, waste oils, energy crops and organic waste used in biofuel production. In this way, we promote more sustainable production and help reduce the environmental and social impact associated with the biomass and biofuels supply chain.
Traceability
ISCC traceability is essential to ensure certified products meet the required sustainability standards, enabling consumers and stakeholders to track product origin and production in a transparent and reliable way.
This involves properly recording and documenting the flow of raw materials, intermediate products and final products throughout the supply chain—from origin to final destination—including the identification and documentation of every stage of production, processing, distribution and marketing.
ISCC is a transparent, practical and internationally aligned system for biomass and bioenergy certification.
